A community gallery and cultural space I founded inside Trellis HIV & Community Care in Kingston, Ontario. I named the space, designed the identity, wrote the voice, and shaped the programming from the ground up.

Founder & Artistic Director, Artery
My name is Andrew Chitty, a Toronto-based Creative Director, Strategist, and Fashion Director. Over the past fifteen years my work has focused on menswear editorial, campaign production, and brand identity across Canada's specialty and luxury retail sector, from earlier years at Urban Outfitters through more than a decade at Harry Rosen, where I grew from Visual Presentation Artist to Manager, Fashion Direction.
In my last two roles at Harry Rosen I ran the in-house creative studio on a $1M+ annual budget, shaped brand direction and campaign strategy inside the senior strategy team, and produced six seasonal magazines with on-location editorial shoots in Italy, France, Iceland, Palm Springs, and Malibu. I've directed campaign, editorial, and lookbook work for Canali, Zegna, Tom Ford, Brunello Cucinelli, Giorgio Armani, Loro Piana, Kiton, Agnona, Canada Goose, Parajumpers, and Commas.
The through-line is craft on the practical side. Getting the samples right, the crew coordinated, the run of show tight, the retouching clean. And taste on the creative side. Knowing what the frame should feel like, what a jacket wants to do, what a shoot needs to say.
Most recently I founded Artery, a community gallery and cultural space inside Trellis HIV & Community Care in Kingston, Ontario, where I own the naming, identity, brand strategy, and programming.
Available for creative direction, brand strategy, fashion direction, editorial consulting, styling, and brand engagements across menswear, lifestyle, editorial, and cultural projects.
Let's make something.
